Wrestling is one of the oldest combat sports involving grappling techniques such as clinch fighting, throws, takedowns, joint locks, and pins to establish and maintain a dominant position on an opponent.

Because it is comprised of techniques that can be applied in either a standing or ground-fighting position, Wrestling is considered to be the “link” that connects the striking martial arts to the ground fighting arts such as Jiu Jitsu.

If you want to learn a practical and explosive sport while building strength and increasing your cardiovascular endurance, then Wrestling is a great option for you.

Required Gear

  • KMS t-shirt or rash guard.
  • Shorts, leggings, spats, or other bottoms that are not loose-fitting.  No pockets or loose-fitting clothing.
  • Athletic cup is optional.


To be eligible to participate in Wrestling, students must complete a minimum of 15 Krav Maga Level 1 classes.
