I am a StrongFirst kettlebell (SFG Level 2), barbell (SFL), and bodyweight (SFB) instructor, having earned my Level 1 kettlebell in 2015, my bodyweight in 2016, my Level 2 kettlebell in 2017, and my barbell in 2018. In addition to being a StrongFirst and TRX® certified fitness instructor, I am also a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified nutrition coach.
My passion is centered around leading others to live happier, more fulfilled lives through working towards strength and fitness goals and overcoming self-limiting beliefs and habits. My goal is to lead by example, teaching and motivating others to achieve their full potential using the tools of strength training, nutrition, and self-reflection. I believe that through the discipline of strength training, we can learn and master all the skills necessary to become our most powerful, fulfilled, confident, successful selves.
I first started training in Krav Maga in 2009 when Chau encouraged me to attend one of his classes at Krav Maga Toronto. Since then, I have trained in Krav Maga, Muay Thai Kickboxing, hardstyle kettlebells, barbell, boot camps, and a variety of other fitness programs.
My lifelong passion for fitness and the team environment has led me down a variety of related paths, including being a three-season varsity athlete in high school (volleyball, swimming, and lacrosse) as well as leading backpacking trips for incoming first-year students at my alma mater, Dartmouth College. I completed three half-marathons in my twenties and have since shifted my focus to hardstyle kettlebell training, strength, and conditioning.
