Intro To Fight

Our fight program, based on the Krav Maga Worldwide® fight program, is a proven systematic training method designed to take the student from a beginner to an advanced level of fighting with an emphasis on reality-based, street-effective techniques.  The KMS fight program is comprised of three classes: Intro to Fight, Intro to Ground, and Intermediate Fight.

Fight classes at KMS adhere to Krav Maga principles and tactics.  We prepare you for a dynamic street fight, not for the ring or the cage.

Safety is always a top priority.  The KMS Fight program follows a specific progression that will create an optimal learning environment while minimizing risk of injury.

INTRO TO FIGHT

Intro to Fight is the first level within the KMS fight program.  This 12-week program uses a variety of principles and drills that will develop students’ foundational fighting and sparring skills.  In Intro to Fight, you will learn the following techniques in a logical progression: stance, footwork, movement, striking, defense, counters, and more.  The program uses various methodologies designed to develop technique, speed, power, aggressiveness, timing, strength and conditioning.

The pace of the class is designed to allow students to acclimate to the demands of fight training with a special focus on fundamental skills.

Intro to Fight is an advanced class that is open to Krav Maga Level 2 students and above.  Students must sign up in advance for the 12-week program and commit to attending at least ten of the twelve classes.

Intro to Ground is an advanced class that is open to Krav Maga Level 2 students and above who have completed Intro to Fight.  Students must sign up in advance for the 12-week program and commit to attending at least ten of the twelve classes.
